General English

International citizenship in the business world

Our General English course is designed for young adult and adult students whose main goal is to be able to fully communicate in both written and spoken English, eliminating any language barriers.

Course Content

  • Each unit in Interchange Fourth Edition contains two cycles, each of which has a specific topic, grammar point, and function.
  • The units consist of a variety of exercises, including a Snapshot, Conversation, Perspectives, Grammar focus, Pronunciation, Discussion (or speaking), Word power, Listening, Writing, Reading, and Interchange activity.
  • Listening activities make classes more dynamic and help students customize their learning by expressing their intake on the conversation topics.
  • Readings include current topics that are relevant to today’s students and help them develop different reading skills such as reading for main ideas, reading for details, and inferencing.
  • Conversations provide speaking and listening practice. They also serve as models for real-life conversations that students can use in their daily context.
